Who We Are

We believe all are called to create, though some are called in unique and artistic ways,

"for hope + healing | beauty + transformation"

Founder Lori A. Thompson’s artistic journey led her to a profound realization: "Beauty is God's message of hope without words. Art is the melody God writes on our hearts; transforming the world with His song."

Yet, within evangelical circles, the arts remain undervalued, leaving many Christian artists feeling unseen and unfulfilled. Instead of thriving in their creative calling, they often serve in roles better suited for others, sidelined by rigid church structures.

While churches integrate creativity through worship teams and programs, what if beauty was recognized as essential to the Gospel rather than optional? God Himself called, filled, and skilled artisans "for glory and beauty" (Exodus 25-31, 35-40). As Psalm 19:1 declares, "The heavens proclaim the work of His hands."

Rather than forcing change, we aim to inspire a shift in perspective—one that leads to a deeper understanding of art as worship, and for healing and transformation. We passionately seek to encourage, equip, and engage individuals and churches to recognize creativity as an authentic expression of Christ’s transcendent, redemptive beauty. As part of this mission, we advocate for the use of discarded and recycled materials in faith-inspired artistic creation.

Our Mission

ENCOURAGE   |  EQUIP  |  ENGAGE

  • Through Holy Spirit-led creative sessions, we reveal God’s redemptive, healing power through beauty and art—awakening participants to their creative calling. Art events and retreats inspire them to deepen their relationship with Christ and each other. These gatherings are life-giving, strengthening both faith and craft.

  • Through community, and artists retreats, we inspire participants to seek intentional, hands-on opportunities to engage with their churches, other ministries, and displaced individuals in spontaneous, non-threatening creative play that opens doors to genuine connections through the shared language of art and beauty.

  • Through coaching-mentorship, collaboration, and artistic expression, we invite Called Creators to actively engage in their Christian faith and creative calling—"for hope + healing | beauty + transformation"

Our vision is to awaken the Church—one artisan at a time—by inviting individuals into a Holy Spirit-led experience and community—embracing both their known creative gifts and those yet to be discovered. Through this journey, the ministry of beauty emerges through art, fostering "hope and healing | beauty and transformation".

Deep calls to deep at the roar of your waterfalls; all your breakers and your waves have gone over me. Psalm 42:7

And let us consider how to spur one another on to love and good deeds. Therefore, encourage and build one another up, just as you are already doing. Hebrews 10:24 | 1 Thessalonians 5:11

OUR REACH

The world is smaller than ever. The relative ease of travel allows us to reach people and cultures all over the globe. The coolest aspect of that is the ability for people of various cultures to make their homes right where we are now. The ArtReach Project is particularly open to reaching individuals from different cultural backgrounds; engaging them in our mission.

From Lori's Desk

The ArtReach Project is looking for other adventurers whose heart's desire is to lead in love, according to the call God has on us to be creative connection points "for hope + healing | beauty + transformation"

I'm so excited to invite you to join us because we know God has designed us to create together—with Him. All glory to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly more than we can ask or think!

Financial gifts enable us to continue our work, in and out of the Church, encouraging artistic creativity, wholeness, and a new understanding of the love of Christ, through art.

We invite active involvement of financial and prayer partners, volunteers, and facilitators.

We are excited to welcome you and your commitment to this call (to ultimately fulfill the great co-mission)—for beauty and for glory. With your help, we can expand our reach and empower more individuals and churches through art. Thank you for being a part of our journey.
